Giovanni Cuarez (Gio) began his financial career at Paramount Pictures in guest relations while studying for his B.S.B.A.
Gio worked his way up into the Network Television Estimating Department, where he gained practical knowledge and experience in the art of budgeting and accounting for more than a dozen prime-time television shows for several years.
After leaving Paramount Pictures, he immediately began working as a freelance Line Producer and filmmaker for various independent film companies and small business owners/advertisers. This experience led him to acquire licenses in Life, Health, and Property & Casualty Insurance and worked for a Production Insurance Brokerage firm for more than 15 years.
While working as a Production Insurance Broker, Gio also registered with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the California Tax Education Council (CTEC) and started a Tax Preparation Service for entertainment professionals, independent film companies, and small business owners.
After his stint in Entertainment Insurance, Gio joined Tactive as an Investment Advisor Representative. In addition, to add value, he recently became a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator.
