The Bitcoin Real Motion model is a quantitative strategy that MarketGauge developed using its proprietary Real Motion indicator. Real Motion helps identify trend and momentum changes while avoiding false breakouts. The model trades Bitcoin, the most popularly traded cryptocurrency in the world, using active trade management and a risk-managed process.
All entries and rotations are based on technical setups using the proprietary Real Motion indicator and are unscheduled. Each position could hit a stop or multiple targets. Stops and targets are published when initially entering a position.
Trades only Bitcoin with active management. The model will typically spend a significant amount of the time out of the market. Positions will remain in cash if a stop is hit or if market internals don’t produce a new entry for another position.
Only trades Bitcoin. Trades tend to be short-duration. Volatility and historical drawdowns are significantly lower than holding Bitcoin.
